Lexington evened its district record in volleyball with a fourgame win over Academy. Lexington lost the first game 20- 25. They roared back to take the second game 25-11. The third game proved to be the match winner. Academy moved out to a six-point lead. The Lady Eagles worked their way back to tie the score at 18. From there the game bounced back and forth until Lexington was able to get the necessary two-point margin. Game four was contested until late, when Lexington forged ahead to capture the match.

All the Lady Eagles contributed to the win. Haley Jatzlau, Madison Bexley and Karley Wren did a good job on digging from the back. Johna Alford, Aleece Moerbe, and Wren did a good job of hitting the ball. Kelley Hacker set most of the hits the young ladies took. Brittany Nichol did a good job on the front row and had an excellent service game.
