Be a Vendor in the Chocolate Lovers Festival!

The Lexington Chamber of Commerce would like to invite you to participate as a vendor during this year’s 7th Annual Chocolate Lovers Festival. You may sell food or crafts, or offer a children’s game or activity. The event is Saturday, October 16, 2010, so time is running out to register.

There are a few responsiblities of those who chose to be a Vendor in this very special event.

First, you must provide small samples of some chocolate product. (If you are selling food items, the samples should be samples of the chocolate food/product that you are selling. If you are offering a game or activity, or selling crafts or other merchandise - your chocolate sample can be any good-quality chocolate item, cut into small pieces.

Please check with organizers to be sure that your item is the only one of its kind. To help us avoid duplicate food sales, you must notify the Chamber of any change to your planned food item.

Third, the Chamber will be selling hot dogs and sodas. Other vendors may not sell these items.

Fourth, Booths should be set up and ready for sales by 9:00 a.m. (10:00 a.m. for food booths). The Chamber reserves the right to bar any duplicate food item sales, or any craft items deemed offensive or in poor taste.

Vendors are responsible for your own tax status and for collecting and reporting sales tax where applicable.
