Lutheran Women Host Fall Rally At St James

The Post Oak Zone Lutheran Women’s Missionary League will hold their Fall Rally on October 3 at St. James Lutheran Church in Lexington. The rally theme is “From all nations, tribes, peoples and languages” based on Revelation 7:9. The speaker will be Rev. Karim Baidaoui from the Dallas Ft. Worth area. Rev. Baidaoui was born to a Jewish mother and a Muslim father. He was converted to Christianity in 1991. Rev. Baidaoui is the Associate Director of Development for POBLO (People of the Book Lutheran Outreach). Registration will be at 1:30 with the rally beginning at 2 p.m.

The Lutheran Women’s Missionary League (LWML) is the official women’s auxiliary of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. For over 65 years, the LWML has focused on affirming each woman’s relationship with Christ, encouraging and equipping women to live out their Christian lives in active mission ministries and to support global missions.
