Middle School Football Report

PHOTO BY MARK STRAIN. 8th Grade- Lexington 6 Navarro 6 in a hard fought contest between battle. W.E. Meuth scored the touchdown that counted. Andrew Lane scored another TD on a 45- yard run that was called back due to a penalty. Meuth led all rushers with 60 yards on nine carries. Tyler Page had 40, Lane 38, and Bryce Shirocky had 23 steps on the game. Jason Dube led the defense for Lexington with nine tackles. Miles Hannigan was in on seven stops. Others making tackles and their numbers were: Meuth 5, Martin Solis 2, Lane 4, Page 3, Brad Campbell 2, Shirocky 2, Walt Green 3, Logan Lee 3, Chris Hasskarl 2, Caleb Braziel 1, and Samuel Meza 1.

7th Grade- Lexington 22 Navarro 20 Alberto Lara scored a couple of TD’s. Tristan LaGrone had a good game offensively and defensively for the young Birds. Anthony Mireles had a good night defensively the first year players.
