Hosea-Richards Vows Exchanged

Loren Susan Hosea and Jarad Landon Richards were united in marriage on Saturday, June 26, 2010 at 5 p.m. at Hyde Park Baptist Church in Austin, Texas. Pastor Jack Chelf of the First Baptist Church in Rockdale, Texas officiated the ceremony.

Loren is the daughter of Eddie and Rhonda Hosea of Lexington, Texas. She is the granddaughter of the late Rodney and Angel Brown of Lexington and the late Harold E. Hosea, Sr. of Dime Box, Texas and Shirley Hosea Yantis and Jim Yantis of Hearne, Texas. Loren is a 2005 graduate of Lexington High School and is currently attending Virginia College in Austin, Texas in the field of Diagnostic Medical Sonography.

Jarad is the son of Monty and Melissa Richards of Cross Plains, Texas. He is the grandson of the late Johnny Pancake of Brownwood, Texas, Mary and Darvel Hutchins of Brownwood and Wes Richards of Buffalo Gap, Texas, Mardel Harmes and the late Glen Harmes of Cross Plains. Jarad is a 1998 graduate of Cross Plains High School and a 2002 graduate of Howard Payne University with a degree in Kinesiology. Jarad is at present a special education math teacher, football coach and head baseball coach at Rockdale High School in Rockdale, Texas. He is currently working on his Masters in Educational Administration.

Leisha Johnson of Round Rock, Texas, Loren’s best friend from college served as maid-ofhonor. Her best friends from high school, Anna Spencer and Kelsey Lehmann, her new sisterin law Veronica Richards and her cousins, Marcy Stifflemire and Meredyth Brown were her bridesmaids.

Brother of the groom Coby Richards stood as best man. Friends from high school and college Joseph Turner, Zack Edington, John Elder, Steve Sebesta and brother of the bride, Lance Hosea were groomsmen.

Ring bearer was Jake Hasselbach, son of Brent and Leslie Hasselbach of Rockdale, Texas. Flower girls were Hayden Bexley, daughter of Jordan Bexley and Anna Spencer and Halle Richards, daughter of Coby and Veronica Richards.

Hostess for the wedding were Hilary Keeton, Chelsea Carpenter, Shayna Spencer, Desiree Marshall and Kelsey Richards.

The reception was held at the Doubletree Hotel ballroom in Austin, Texas. A meal was served and the Texas Unlimited Band provided the music.

The bride’s dress was designed by Pnina Tornai, shown through Kleinfeld in New York City and made in Israel. The colors for the wedding were brown and ivory. After a honeymoon in Las Vegas the couple is residing in Rockdale, Texas.
