Lexington’s Lady Eagles opened District 27AA play with a four-game win over Academy Friday afternoon. Lexington topped Academy by winning the first, second and fourth games in the match. The winning scores were: 25-17, 25-14, and 25-17. The game three loss was by a score of 22-25. Coach Tiffany Robertson said, “We played good the first two games. In the 3rd game we had some serve receive errors and some miscommunications on the court that led to our loss. The girls got back on track during the 4th game and looked like they did the first two games.”

The JV Green lost 9-25, 20-25 in their match with Academy. The JV Gold also lost to Academy in split games, 16-25, 25-14, 22-25.
