Eagles Travel North to Take on Academy
The Eagles will travel up Temple-way Friday for a game with the Class 2A-Division I Bumblebees. The Bees are 1-1 for the season. They beat Waco Reicher in their opener and lost to Rogers 28-7 last week. Academy returns eight offensive and seven defensive starters from last season’s 6-4 team. Academy lost their leader from last season, Kyle Kuban. The Bees are good sized, strong, and experienced. The are lacking in team quickness and speed. They are powerful on offense as they try to blow their opponents off the line of scrimmage.
