Giddings Library News Corner

There are always new books coming in at the Giddings Public Library. The Wolf At The Door by Jack Higgins is a suspense thriller with Sean Dillon as the main character. Someone is killing off members of an elite intelligence unit and Dillon feels his old nemesis is in charge.

Shades Of Blue by Karen Kingsbury involves Brad Cutler who is haunted by his past but knows he has to find his old love and make amends.

The Gift by Cecelia Ahern is witty and warm fable of love, regret , hope, and second chances.

The Sheen On The Silk by Anne Perry is an epic historical novel set in the thirteenth century Constantinople.

The Crisis by David Poyer is the twelfth in his continuing novel cycle of the modern Navy and Marine Corps.

Iron River by T. Jefferson Parker is about violence on the Mexican- American border.

Singularity by Kathryn Casey is about Sarah Armstrong, a Texas Ranger chasing a murderer.

Other new books are Hard Rain by David Rollins, The First Rule by Robert Crais, and Too Many Murders by Colleen McCullough.

The Library is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday and on Saturdays from 10 a.m until 1 p.m. We are closed Sundays.
