Fish Fry Quickly in 106° Weather
2010-08-26 / Front Page
Last Saturday’s 106° heat may have helped the fish fry quicker at the 28th Annual Fedor Fish Fry, but it sure didn’t slow
down the crowds. Hundreds of people turned out for the all-day event that included delicious food, a live auction, children’s games, musical entertainment, as well as a horseshoe tournament and a washer pitching tournament (watch
for those pictures next week). Here are a couple of pictures of some of the volunteers who helped. The top picture is of the “tea servers”. They are (front) Teresa Exner, Agnes Lay, (back) Cathy Schulze, Connie Boriack and Wesley Boriack. The bottom picture is of the men who were selling food tickets. They are Mickey Dehart, Ron Handrick, Paul Biehle and
Martin Schubert. More pictures of the event can be found on page B8 of today’s paper. PHOTOS BY LINDA KIDD.
