Holy Family Catholic Church to Host Mothers and Daughters Workshop

Holy Family Catholic Church in Lexington will be sponsoring “Mothers and Daughters Workshop” on Saturday, August 28, at the Parish Hall. Mothers and their daughters are invited to a very special event to reflect on the beautiful virtues of modesty and chastity.

This presentation will also include discussions on friendship and dating, purity, sexuality and sex as sacred, the gift of fertility and understanding the menstrual cycle.

Mothers with daughters in 5th and 6th Grade: 9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. Mothers with daughters in 7th and 8th Grade: 10:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Lunch Break – 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm. In the afternoon, Mothers with daughters in High School: 1:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

A special ceremony will conclude the presentation in the afternoon. A grandmother, aunt or guardian may accompany the girls if the mother is unable to attend.

Our presenter is Dana Foss, a parishioner of St. Jerome in Waco. She is an RN and a certified facilitator for Marriage Preparation Program for the Diocese of Austin.
