Lexington Resident Has Mystery Book Published

Stephanie Milburn Stephanie Milburn PublishAmerica announced this week that it is publishing The Chef Detective, a book written by Stephanie Milburn of Lexington. This is Milburn’s first book.

The Chef Detective is a story about a young lady named Noelle Bailey. At twenty-one, Noelle becomes one of the youngest executive chefs around. She is hired at a country club outside of Houston, Texas. She works hard trying to prove to everyone there, including herself, that she deserves the job.

There are those at the country club who would like to see Noelle disappear. As she is flipping omelets and perfecting souffles, Noelle stumbles upon a mystery at the club. She becomes entangled in a web of lies and deceit that puts her life in danger. All the while, Noelle finds time to fall in love with a sexy firefighter who helps her uncover the truth and find happiness.

The author, Stephanie Milburn was born in Jamestown, New York, in 1979. She attended Culinary School at the Art Institute of Houston and became an executive chef when she was twenty-two. She is now a stay-at-home mom of two and lives in Lexington, Texas, with her husband.
