Saturday night the Lexington Lions Club and Lexington Volunteer Fire Departnment held their annual fundraiser at the Lexington Park Building. An excellent meal of barbecue, potato salad, homemade noodles and more was topped off with plenty of suspence, excitement, prizes, and loads of laughter. The sold-out crowd filled the hall almost to capacity while auctioneer Keith Bexley and co-emcees Byron Wren (representing the Lions Club) and Mike Organ (representing the LVFD) kept things moving at an entertaining clip. The hall was full of folks that had good food and a great time at the Lexington Lions Club and Lexington Volunteer Fire Department fundraiser last Saturday night.
The dessert table was manned by Estelle Proske and many other cheerful helpers.
