Armed Robbery in Dime Box
The two unknown males were wearing dark clothes, gloves and ski masks demanded the payroll from the victims. Victims, Pete Vega, Domingo Rodriquez and Raul Perez stated that one of the male suspects was carrying an unknown caliber hand gun.
Along with the undisclosed amount of payroll the suspects demanded the keys to Raul Perez’s 2004 blue Chevrolet pick up truck. The suspects left Diamond P heading towards highway 21.
The vehicle was located around 11:00 p.m. in the brush on an oil lease on C.R. 122. The vehicle had been set on fire and is a total loss.
The case is still under investigation and anyone that may have information in the case may call the Lee County Sheriff’s office or Bluebonnet Crime Stoppers. Investigating officers are: Sheriff Rodney Meyer, Chief Deputy Charles Kothmann, Deputy James Crockett, Deputy Mike York and Texan Ranger Cody Mitchell.
