New T-1 Line For County Emergency Communications
Lee County Commissioners approved a Business Service Agreement for a T-1 line with Verizon during their regular meeting held Monday, June 28. This high speed data line is a portion of the County’s part of the overall upgrade of emergency communications for the Central Texas area and will cost the County slightly in excess of $9,000.
The Court also agreed to request bids to move the house currently at 282 Grimes Street in Giddings, which used to house the Extension Office. The Request for Bids will be issued within the next two weeks.
