City Continues Progress on Sewer Grant
The City of Lexington continues to make good progress on their finalized Sewer Grant Plan. The following items are completed:
a) The I&I Study (mapping, manhole inspections, line inspections, and flow metering) have been completed.
b) The Hwy 77 Lift Station and Caldwell Street Lift Station have been replaced and put into service as of March 29, 2010
c) 2,337 linear feet of new 8-inch PVC wastewater lines have been installed to replace existing 6-inch wastewater lines and 8 manholes have been replaced in Basin A. This project was completed June 23, 2009. The project is being overseen by The Wallace Group, which is the City’s engineers.
