Frances Coronado January 16, 1032 - June 7, 2010
Frances Escalante Beltran Coronado was born on January 16, 1932 in Millett, Texas. She was a retail sales clerk having worked at Bage’s Grocery, Wolf’s Grocery and most recently at Brookshire Brothers. She was a member of the First Assembly of God in Giddings.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and two brothers.
Frances is survived two daughters, Linda Hernandez of Winnsboro and Melba & Bobby Castillo of Giddings; son, David Coronado of Giddings; 10 grandchildren, Yvette Hernandez of Dilly, Veronica & Ray Soto of Winnsboro, Romy & Jennie Hernandez of Dilly, Brenda Rodriguez of Giddings, Joe Rodriguez of Austin, David Talamantes of Pearsall, Derek Talamantes of Pearsall, Daniel Talamantes of Pearsall, Adrianna Talamentes of Pennsylvania and Elijah Talamantes of Pennsylvania; 16 great grandchildren; three sisters, Maria Campos of San Antonio, Rebecca Cantu of Dilly and Yolanda Ochoa of Spring; two brothers, Manuel Alejandro of San Antonio and Mauro Alejandro of Houston as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Frances Coronado, 78 of Giddings, were held on Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Giddings with Pastor Pat Herlitz officiating. Burial followed in the Giddings City Cemetery. Visitation was held Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 7:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home.
