Local Cadet Graduates From West Point

Cadet Robert Lee Lewis, son of Lee & Cinda Lewis of Lexington, TX, graduated from the U.S. Military Academy on Saturday, May 22, 2010.

Lewis was home schooled. While at West Point, he concentrated his studies in Civil Engineering. He was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army within the Engineers branch and will report to Fort Carson, CO for his first assignment.

The mission of the U.S. Military Academy is to educate, train, and inspire the Corps of Cadets so that each graduate is a commissioned leader of character committed to the values of Duty, Honor, Country and prepared for a career of professional excellence and service to the Nation as an officer in the United States Army.
