This Friday night, the Lee County Relay for Life will host its Annual event at Eagle Stadium in Lexington. One team known as Caleb’s Believers, wants everyone to know that it’s not just about walking. It’s more about supporting and encouraging your family, friends and neighbors struggling with the effects of cancer.
The namesake of their team, Caleb, was diagnosed with Lymphoma at the age of 3. He underwent Chemo, and battled all the side effects associated with Chemo.
He is now considered a 4-year survivor, but the ordeal of all he endured is still a painful memory for all the family and for Caleb. He asked his mom just the other day if he had died where would they have buried him. This is only part of the struggle, cancer survivors endure.
Won’t you please support and encourage “Caleb’s Believers” and all the teams this Friday at Eagle Football field. Lets’ Pack The Track, and Field!
The opening ceremony will start at 7 p.m., followed by the Survivor’s Walk. There’ll be food, music, and lots of great fellowship. Closing ceremony will be Saturday morning at about 7 a.m. and breakfast will be served.
