Dear Editor

Dear Editor,

We live in the country and love it. We have acquired lots of dogs and cats over the years. Unfortunately, living in the country has its drawbacks. It seems that when people get tired of their animals or will no longer take care of them, they take them to a country road and dump them. Most of the animals that have been dumped die a slow horrible death. There are places you can take them, like to the local animal shelter. Please do not put your animals on someone else’s doorstep thinking they will take care of them. Do the decent thing. YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!

Proverbs 12:10 says, A good man is concerned for the welfare of his animals, but even the kindness of a Godless man is cruel. (Living Bible)

Sincerely, Marianne Poston
