Walter's Retirement


The City of Lexington hosted a reception for long-time employee of the City, Walter Moerbe, last Friday afternoon. Several community leaders and City employees were on hand to congratulate Walter on his upcoming retirement. Pictured above are Rev. Reuel Cooper, a former City Council member, City employee Robert Mack, Municipal Court Clerk Candace Walch, Robert “Bubba” Poston, a former City Council member, and City employees Chris Billings, Jennifer Thomas and Kenneth Chapel. Walter’s family was in attendance as well. The proud group includes Walter, his wife, Dorothy, his son Russell, and daughters Dawn Jackson and Sheila Kmoch (kneeling) and his grandson Carson Jackson.
