For the second year in a row, the Brazos Valley Juniors 12 Mizuno team has qualified to compete in the 31st Annual USA Volleyball Girls Junior National Championships (formerly known as the Junior Olympics). The 12’s Mizuno Team went undefeated in pool and bracket play at the Lone Star Regional Qualifier Tournament in Houston to become Brazos Valley’s FIRST Lone Star Regional Champion in the history of the club (14 years). As starting outside hitter, setter and captain of the BVJ Team, Lexington student Karsen Ross is very excited to compete in the National Division at the National Championships in Reno, Nevada on June 27-30, 2010. Congratulations to Karsen and the entire Brazos Valley Team! Good luck in Reno!
