At 8:30 p.m, Officer Connolly and Chief Davenport responded to a crash at the Car Wash on Cherry Drive. The male driver was arrested for DWI and transported to the Lee County Jail.

May 14, 2010

At 3:30 a.m., Officer Kelly and Chief Davenport responded to a criminal trespassing in the area of Douglas and Avenue A. The complainant did know the violator as an exboyfriend of her daughter. The violator was asked to leave but to no avail. Officer Kelly arrived and identified the violator. The violator gave Officer Kelly a wrong name. As Officer Kelly questioned more, the violator became aggressive and sped off with Officer Kelly giving chase. The violator was soon apprehended in the Brademan Addition on Harry Street. Officer Kelly placed the violator under arrest for Fleeing, Controlled Substance, Criminal Trespassing and Giving False Information to a Police Officer.

May 15, 2010

Beginning at 11:15 p.m., Chief Davenport received several threatening text messages from a known person that Chief Davenport had arrested several times in the past. A warrant is being sought to apprehend the male.
