The Jr. High Boys Tennis meet was held on May 1st at Academy.

7th-Grade Singles-Walt Green won first place beating Florence 6-5, Academy 6-1, and the championship match over Academy #1 6-1. Jason Handrick won consolation with wins over Academy #2 and Florence 6-4.

8th Grade Singles-Corey Strain won first place beating Academy’s #2 6-2 and then beat Academy #1 6-2 in the championship match.

8th Grade Doubles-Eriq Mitchell and London Jacobs beat Florence 6-1 in the opening round. They beat Academy in the semifinal 6-4 and in the championship match they topped the other Lexington squad of Noble Little and Hunter Wilson 6-2. Wilson and Little reached the finals by beating Academy #2 6-4.

Coach Mike Junek is very proud of his young netters for their performance this season.
