The Eagles JV baseball team is having a great season this year with a record of 6-1-1 in district play and 9-2-1 for the over all this year. Their only losses coming from losing in the championship game of the Smithville tournament against La Grange and then losing against Salado here at home two weeks ago. Their only tie of the year came against Lago Vista in Lago Vista. They have out scored their opponents 52 runs to 33 runs in district play and have an amazing 85 stolen bases in district play alone. Coach Dylan Conway said he can’t say that it’s any one player standing out on the team. Their playing together as a team, when one player is struggling another will pick it up to get the win. They will get another chance to play Lago Vista here at home on April 20, but because of taks test the JV will not get to play Salado again, so they won’t get a chance to redeem themselves against Salado
