College Station Twelve 13U White Wins Tax Day Tourney

The College Station Twelve won the Championship game in the Tax Day Tourney recently. Lexington 8th Grader Derek Dane plays for the team and pitched the 7-inning winning game. The Twelve, as they are known, swept through the competition in the Elite Division April 10-11, playing teams from San Antonio, Spring, The Woodlands, Magnolia, Tomball and Houston area, ending up in the Championship against their rival from Spring, Texas. This was the rematch from the Fall State Championship which turned out to be the game everyone thought it might be with great defense, pitching and timely hitting from both teams.

This time, the Twelve came out on top with a 3-1 victory.

Lexington 8th Grader Derek Dane pitched a 7-inning complete game, striking out six, walking one and giving up only six hits on 82 pitches as the Twelve finished the tournament 5-0.
