First Baptist Church
Lexington
First Baptist Church in Lexington will hold registration for their
Mother’s Day Out program for the 2010-2011 school year on Tuesday,
May 4 at 12 noon. Anyone wishing to participate in MDO is encouraged
to attend this informal registration, which will be held at the church.
Registrants will get an opportunity to tour the facility and talk with the
staff of MDO.
Mother’s Day Out is for children who will be 2 years old by Sept. 15,
2010 through Pre-School. For more information, call Kim Washington

What Does Easter Mean to You?
Children at First Baptist Church in Lexington were asked to write a
line or two about what Easter means to them. Here are a few of the
responses:
Lauren Hess said, “It means we can be saved.”
Avery Carter wrote, “Easter is really about Jesus being raised from
the dead.”
KeAnna Clemons exclaimed, “Easter means that Jesus has risen.
Happy Easter!”
Wyatt Knippa wrote, “I think Easter is about Jesus dying for us.”
Savannah Knippa said, “Easter means to me that we can be saved.”
