The track teams participated in the first annual Charlie Rouse Relays in Leander on April Fools Day. Lexington was the only 2A team in a field of 25 teams. Some Lexington athletes did very well.

Julien Clark won the high jump with a state top ten jump of 6’8”. He had the entire end of the field watching him as he barely missed 6’10”. Coaches are confident he will clear the height this season.

Courtney Jackson was second in the discus for the girls.

Clint Hutson scored points with a third place finish in the Long Jump and Tevin Lovings was third in the 200 meters. The two-mile relay team of Zane Kleinschmidt, Jeff Pena, Greg Willrich, and Phillip Lindbergh was third.
