Spring flowers

While Spring flowers came later than normal for our part of the country this year, Edna Rabe’s yard is in complete bloom. In this picture, she has tulips, a snowball viburnum and two flowering dogwoods, one pink and the other white. What you can’t see here, however, is the prolific purple blooms of her wisterias, trained in tree-form, a small “field” of bluebonnets, and red and white azeleas. The toughest part of taking a picture at Edna’s (or at many of our local gardener’s homes) is not being able to have every plant in the lens!
