District Court Sentences Two
On March 30, 2010, in the 21st Judicial District Court of Lee County, the Honorable Terry Flenniken sentenced two individuals.
Phillip Daniel King, 25, of College Station was sentenced 10 years confinement in the TDCJ, probated for 7 years for Enticing a Child. He must serve 60 days confinement in the Lee County Law Enforcement Center as a condition of probation. He was fined $10,000 and assessed $450 court costs and fees. He must perform 200 hours of community service and attend Sex Offender Registration, Counseling and/or Treatment.
Byron Lydell Cook, 22, of Giddings was given 4 years probation with 120 days confinement in the LCLEC as a condition of probation for Possession of a Controlled Substance-Cocaine, Less Than 1 Gram. He was fined $2,000 and assessed $844 in court costs and fees. He must pay $290 in Restitution.
