David Milton Ahrendt

July 29, 1943-March 21, 2010

David Milton Ahrendt was born in Houston on July 29, 1943 to Frank Otto and Myrtie Campbell Ahrendt, he grew up in Lexington, TX and later settled in Austin. He was a loving family man and good friend to many.

Following his graduation from Lexington High School, he proudly served in the US Air Force. After being honorably discharged with rank of Airman First Class, he attended Sam Houston State University. He was a Master Mason at Onion Creek Lodge and a member of the American Legion, Post 6 in Lexington, TX. He spent the majority of his career working as a construction estimator.

David passed from this live on March 21, 2010.

He is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Kay, daughters, Amy McSpadden and Barbara Leonard and her husband Zach and granddaughter Campbell Leonard. He is also survived by brothers Donald Ahrendt and Michael Ahrendt and wife Carol, and sister Kay Sweat and husband Ernie Sweat along with numerous beloved nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services were Friday March 26th at Oak Hill United Methodist Church, where he was a charter member. Internment was at the Masonic Cemetery of Austin.
