District Court Action
On March 23, 2010, in the 21st Judicial District Court of Lee County, the Honorable Terry Flenniken sentenced four individuals. Rhonda Gale Dinwiddie, 49, of Lyons had her probation of her previous sentence revoked. She must serve 2years in the TDCJ for Possession of a Controlled Substance- Cocaine, 1-4 grams. She must pay all costs previously assessed plus $400 Court Appointed Attorney fee on the Motion to Revoke Probation matters.
Troy Jonathan Harris, 35, of Austin had his probation revoked on his original sentence for Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity-Burglary of a Vehicle. He must serve 270 days confinement in the TDCJ-State Jail Facility and pay all costs previously assessed plus $400 Court Appointed Attorney fee on the Motion to Revoke Probation matters.
John Norman Powell, 34, of Waco, was sentenced to 6 months confinement in the Lee County Law Enforcement Center after his probation on the original sentence for Criminal Trespass was revoked. He must pay all costs previously assessed and $400 Court Appointed Attorney fees on the Motion to Revoke Probation matters.
Justin Scot Hightower, 33, of Giddings was sentenced to 6 months confinement in the Lee County Law Enforcement Center for Criminal Trespass. The sentence was probated to 2 years. He was assessed $1804 in fines fees and court costs plus $50 Bluebonnet Area Crime Stopper fee. He must also enter a plea of guilty to an assault charge pending in the Lee County Court and pay a fine and court costs.
