Lexington will host the annual Lexington Track meet this week. The high school will run on Thursday with the junior high meet held on Friday.

The high school meet will start at 3:30 on Thursday with field events with the running events to start at approximately 5:00. Participating schools will be: Allen Academy, Altair Rice, Caldwell, Cameron Yoe, Dime Box, Austin Eastside Memorial, Giddings, Hearne, LaGrange, Lexington, Navasota, Rockdale, Rogers, Thorndale, Weimar.

The junior high meet will have the same basic time frame on Friday. Teams competing are: Allen Academy, Burton, Caldwell, Dime Box, Hearne, Lexington, Marlin, McDade, Prairie Lea, Rockdale, Schulenburg, Thorndale.
