Feral Hog Symposium Scheduled for Apr. 14

The Lee County office of Texas AgriLife Extension Service will host a Feral Hog Symposium on Wednesday, April 14, at the American Legion Hall (US 77 South) in Giddings. The program will begin at 3:30 pm and is scheduled to conclude at 9 pm.

Five CEU hours will be offered to TDA certified, licensed, commercial and non-commercial, applicators.

Registration is $25 per person if pre-registered by April 1; otherwise, it will be $35 at the door. To register, contact the office of Texas AgriLife Extension Service in Lee County at 979-542- 2753. A catered meal will be served.

Topics will include: trapping, biology, financial impact, marketing and transporting feral hogs.

Individuals with disabilities who plan to attend this conference and may need auxiliary aids, services or accommodations must contact the Lee County Extension office at 979-542-2753 at least seven days prior to the event so that appropriate arrangements can be made.
