Country Music Monday

The Giddings Rotary Club proudly sponsored another hit opry Monday night. Giddings teenager, Kimberlin Krause 13, played guitar and belted out old polka tunes like “In Heaven, There Is No Beer” and “Daddy’s Little Fatty”.

If you’ve never checked out the Lone Star Opry it’s well worth the trip, only costs $3 and proceeds benefit the Rotary Club Scholarship Fund. This opry showcases some of the best talent Texas has to offer and it’s right herein Giddings the first Monday of every month. Next month’s headliners are Jake Kellen and Alan Fisher followed by Johnny Busy in May. www.countrymusicmonday.com
