At 12:30 a.m., Officer Kelly responded to the area of HWY 77 South to investigate an intoxicated driver heading into the City. Officer Kelly stopped the vehicle at the Cefco parking lot and discovered the driver to be heavily intoxicated. The driver was arrested and transported to the Lee Count y Jail for DWI.

Officers received a report of speeding vehicles on Shaw Road.

Animal Control Officer Castro and the Blue Paws Organization are continuing their quest on the Feral Cat population. If your pet is missing please contact ACO Castro at 979-540-9791. A reminder all animals kept outside should have a collar and Rabies tags. If you should be missing your pet please contact the Animal Control Officer.
