District Court Sentencing
On Tuesday, February 2, 2010, the Honorable Judge Reva Towslee-Corbett handed down sentences to three individuals in the 21st District Court of Lee County.
Amy Marie Wagner, 29, of La Grange had her prior sentence revoked for Forgery by Passing. She must serve 180 days confinement in the Lee County Law Enforcement Center and pay all costs previously assessed plus $400 court appointed attorney fee on the Motion to Revoke Probation matters. Wagner was given a five year probated sentence on another charge of Forgery by Passing. She was fined $1,000 and was assessed an additional $1857.35 in court costs, fees and restitution. She must also perform 250 hours community service restitution.
Douglas Gene Sowders, 30, of Giddings was given four years probation on a two year sentence of Confinement in the TDCJ State Jail Facility for Theft by Check - $1500 - $20,000. He was also fined $1,000 and assessed an additional $4,333.81 in court costs, fees and restitution, which totaled $3,569.81. He was also ordered to serve 100 hours of community service restitution.
Rick Don Bradshaw, 37, of Lexington received two years probation on a six month sentence of confinement in the Lee County Law Enforcement Center. He was assessed a $750 fine; $300 in Court Costs, and a $50 Bluebonnet Area Crime Stopper Fee. He must also perform 100 hours of community service restitution.
