Lexington EMS Presents The Plummer Family Country Music Show
Lexington EMS will feature The Plummer Family Country Music Show again this year during their Annual Fundraiser. The event is scheduled for Friday, February 19, at the Lexington Elementary School Cafetorium, beginning at 7 p.m. For 18 years, Branson, Missouri was home of The Plummer Family Country Music Show. Darrell and Rosie have been acknowledged in many ways for their exceptional talent as country music performers. Rosie was presented the first “Show Biz Award” in 1984 at the Ozark Music Awards. The Plummers are also members of the Ozark Hall of Fame. Now, The Plummer Family is on the road, entertaining crowds throughout the country. When the curtain opens, you will find some of the most talented and professional performers anywhere.
The Show will feature traditional country and gospel songs, along with feet tapping polkas.
Also singing with Darrell and Rosie will be Josh Driskill, their grandson, Mike Tawfall, a versatile musician who has been entertaining folks since the age of five on the lead guitar, Jim Gallagher, drummer, Phil Coontz on steel guitar, Lynn Rose Terry, vocalist, Buster Sharp, bass guitarist and vocalist and “Nearly Famous” (aka Tony Hampton), the guy who will make you laugh!
