A motorist reported cows out on Hwy 21 just west of Hwy 77. Deputy Lapham was dispatched to the scene. The cows were taken to the Giddings Auction Barn until the owner can be located. Full Story

At 7:45 a.m., Chief Davenport received a phone call asking for more patrolling in the Old Town area due to heavy vehicle traffic in the area of Avenue A and Douglas during the night time.
