Little Dribbler Program Starts a New Season

Little Dribblers started league play in Lexington last Saturday January 23, 2010. The program has been in Lexington for more than 15 years and strives to provide a program that will not only be fun, interesting and a wholesome experience for the community, but an ever more effective medium for helping today’s boys and girls develop into better citizens tomorrow through participation in organized, supervised recreation. In essence, Little Dribblers believes that if you teach them to play by the rules, they’ll learn to live by the rules.

Lexington’s Little Dribbler games will be played every Saturday from now until the championship games March 6th. Both Lexington gyms, the “old” gym and the “new” gym, will host these games.

Mark Strain, who is owner of the Lexington Animal Clinic and has a daughter who participates in the program said, “Come out and support the future of Lexington basketball.”
