Margaret Bryan

February 19, 1922 - January 16, 2010

Margaret Hooper Bryan was born Feb. 19, 1922 in Lee County to Lawrence and Hazel (Gay) Hooper. She and Hugh Bryan were married July 15, 1940 in Lexington and to this union four children were born. She was a homemaker and had lived all of her life in Lexington.

She passed away Saturday, Jan. 16, 2010 in the Manor Oaks Nursing Center in Rockdale.

Services were held Monday, Jan. 18, 2010 at the Faith Temple Church in Lexington with burial following in the Lexington Cemetery.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Hugh on Aug. 19, 1990 and one sister, Marie Kotria. Survivors include: two sons, Ronnie Bryan of Lexington and Randy Bryan of Fulshear. Two daughters; Margaret Bexley and Pam Cox, both of Lexington. Two brothers, Lawrence Hooper of Lexington and Earnest Hooper of New Hampshire. Three Sisters; Margie White and Earlene Peterson, both of Lexington and Judy Mundine of Cedar Park; Eleven grandchidren:Keith Bexley, Kerry Bexley, Marty Bryan, Nathan Bryan, Candace Walch, Amy Hobbs, Kendry Smart, Justin Bryan, Drew Bryan, Lauren Frankeny and Lindsey Bryan; 20 great grandchildren: Jordan Bexley, Amanda Bexley, Hailey Bexley, Larissa Abshire, Julian Bexley, Allyson Abshire, Madison Bexley, Magen Walch, McKaley Bryan, Grant Peimann, Colby Bexley, Kegan Walch, Kylie Hobbs, Brooks Bryan, Lincoln Bryan, Ryker Frankeny, Brayden Bryan and Jace Bryan; and 1 great great grandchild, Hayden Bexley survive.

Serving as pallbrearers were Keith Bexley, Kerry Bexley, Marty Bryan, Nathan Bryan, Justin Bryan, and Drew Bryan.
