Eight Lady Eagles scored making the victory a truly team win. The Lady Eagles improved their free throw shooting percentage from 35% in Tuesday night’s loss to 56% in Friday’s win.

Lexington played a strong first half taking a 26-14 lead at halftime. Strong defense helped the Lady Eagles keep the lead after scoring only four-points in the third stanza. Scoring came back with a 12-point splurge in the fourth period to seal the game away. Lexington is now 1-4 in District 25- AA action with one game left, against Jarrell, in the first round.

The Lexington post trio of Angel Parks, Bell, and Veronica Richardson grabbed six, five, and four rebounds respectively.
