Lexington Lady Eagles Fall to Salado

Lexington’s Lady Eagles fell to Salado 53-37 Saturday afternoon. Lexington had a hard time dealing with Salado’s tall players. Lexington’s points came from the outside, Karley Wren’s five threepointers or lay ins before Salado taller girls could get down court.

Lexington was led by Wren with 17 points. The five treys were a season high for the team and for an individual. Angel Parks was also in double figures with 12 points. Lexington had only three players score in first district contest of 2010. The Lady Eagle JV lost a tough game to Salado 33-31. Mackenzie Brown was the leading scorer with 18 points.
