Chance and Chace Sherrill were honorable mention all-state on the Texas Sportswriters 2A all-state team. The two usually led the team in tackles. Chance received his votes as a linebacker and Chace was noted for his work as a defensive back.

The twins will be back next season to lead the Eagles into the 2A playoffs.
