Lexington buzzed the Caldwell Hornets Tuesday night 57-30. Lexington used constant defensive pressure to create many turnovers by the Burleson County crew. Julien Clark, Jason Washington, Tevin Lovings, and Kelden Wren all were able to step in front of passes or steal the ball from the Hornet dribbler. Avahn Crumb, Anthony Robbins, and Kaelan Blok took care of the rebounds.

Lexington jumped out to a 19-7 lead in the first quarter. A 14-4 Eagle advantage in the second quarter sent Lexington to the halftime break with a 33-11 lead. Another dominant quarter of 17-10 gave Lexington a 29-point lead going into the fourth period. Lexington cruised to the final buzzer, slowing the ball down and looking for specific shots.

The Eagle JV also scored a win over Caldwell 36-34. The JV was led by Donnie Havard with 16 points.
