Dianne Wolff Zoch

April 13, 1951 - December 16, 2009

A Celebration of Life Service for Dianne W. Zoch, 58 of Giddings, was held on Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at Martin Luther Lutheran Church in Giddings with Rev. Jeremy Walloch officiating. A private family graveside service was held at the Giddings City Cemetery.

Dianne passed away Wednesday evening at her home in Giddings following a lengthy battle with cancer.

Dianne Lucille Wolff Zoch was born on April 13, 1951 in Giddings, Texas to August L. & Lucille (Fritsche) Wolff. She graduated from Giddings High School in 1969 and was united in marriage to Melvin Zoch on March 14, 1969. Dianne was employed with Edward Jones in Giddings for the past 15 years as a Senior Branch Office Administrator. She enjoyed camping, music and spending time at the beach, in the mountains and with her family.

Dianne was preceded in death by her grandparents and her parents in-law, Edwin & Louise Zoch.

She is survived by her husband, Melvin Zoch of Giddings; 2 daughters, Kathy Garza & Jeff Williams of Giddings and Kristy & Michael Gholson of Giddings; son-in-law, Luis Garza of Giddings; 5 grandchildren, Morgan Nicole Garza, Heather Paige Gholson, Zachary Chance Gholson, Colby Chase Gholson and Bailey Jordan (B.J) Garzaall of Giddings; parents, August & Lucille Wolff of Giddings; brother, August L. Wolff VI & wife, Judy of Lincoln; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Kenneth & Gladys Zoch of Giddings, Mildred & Marvin Bamsch of Houston, Marvin & Ruthie Zoch of Somerville, Marilyn & Ray Dixon of Houston, Dennis & Bernice Zoch of Serbin and Nelda Zoch of Houston as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives,many friends and her beloved Mattie.

Dianne fought cancer for many years and her family has requested that instead of flowers, memorials be given to the American Cancer Society or the Lee County Cancer Resource Center so that others who continue the fight may find the cure that Dianne so bravely sought.
