Lexington Elementary Sceince Fair

Photos and Story by Liz Selman, 5th Grade Science Teacher

Tyler Otte, Fourth Grade First Place Winner Tyler Otte, Fourth Grade First Place Winner It is now being said, at Lexington Elementary School anyway, that if you want cold, rainy weather, just plan a science fair! Regardless of the cold, wintry weather, parents and students came out to this year’s science fair to see the hard work and science skill of Lexington’s 4th and 5th Grade students. Mrs. Salinas and Mrs. Selman, the fourth and fifth grade science teachers, were pleased with the hard work of the participants and the number of parents that came out to support their kids.

We would like to thank the judges for volunteering their time. Thank you to Mrs. Ray and Mrs. Barnett for helping work on projects. Also, thank you to Mrs. Kolacek for helping students type project information in computer class.

The winners of the science fair are as follows…
