The City of Lexington recently let a bid to Cummings Paving from Blanco, Texas to repave Shaw Road, beginning at C Street to the curve just before the Lexington Cemetery. I want to caution everyone who travels that way that work will begin immediately, so please be careful while traveling that route. Construction is expected to take up to a month, depending on the weather.
