After playing some of the best teams the state has to offer, Derek Dane and his teammates on the College Station Twelve found themselves in the Nations Fall State Championship game Sunday night in Pflugerville. The day started off early with an 8:30am start in the fog against THZ Base- ball in which CST won 5-0, then after a wait they matched up against the team they had lost to on Saturday 8-4, the Houston Banditos. CST won 9-1, now it was just a matter of time to see who they played for the championship which ended up being the Spring Klein Hooks. This was a classic match up of two very good teams pulling out all the stops to win this championship; a mix of great coaching along with equally great execution from both teams, a game that went back and forth full of all aspects of the game in which in the end the Hooks win 7- 5 and the College Station Twelve having to settle for second in the Fall State Championship.
