Dorothy “Louise” Enloe

Memorial services for Dorothy “Louise” Enloe, 78 of Lexington, were held on Monday, November 23, 2009 at the First Baptist Church in Lexington with Dr. Forrest Lowery officiating.

Mrs. Enloe passed away early Friday morning at the Seton Medical Center in Austin.

Dorothy Louise Clark Enloe was born on February 17, 1931 in Vernon, Texas to Obie & Lorine Clark. She was united in marriage to John Enloe on August 2, 1950 in Olney, Texas. Mrs. Enloe was a loving and devoted homemaker and member of the First Baptist Church in Lexington. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, embroidering, canning and being grandma. The Enloe’s own and operate a janitorial service for U.S. Post Offices in Lexington and McDade.

Mrs. Enloe was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Delaney Enloe and two sisters, Lorine Schimpsher and Edna Clark.

She is survived by her husband, John Enloe of Lexington; three children, Rick & Cleta Enloe of Giddings, Gary & Jill Enloe of Lexington and Patty & Mike Redmond of Yampa, CO; five grandchildren, Daniel & Dori Enloe of Lexington, Tonya & Tony Calvo of Monahans, Keith Enloe of Lexington, James & Jennifer Redmond of Grand Juntion, CO and David Redmond of Yampa, CO; seven great grandchildren; brother, Ernest Clark of Dennison as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other realtives and friends.

Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church in Lexington or to the charity of one’s choice.
