November 2, 2009

A motorist reported cows out at 1514 CR 127. Deputy Crockett was dispatched and the cattle were run off the roadway into a pasture.

Deputy York put up cows that were out on FM 3404 near the church.

Phillips and Luckey requested a funeral escort at 2:30 pm at the Martin Lutheran Church going to the Dallas St. entrance at the Giddings City Cemetery. Chief Deputy Kothmann and Deputy York assisted.

A caller reported that she wanted to file charges against a male subject because he took her car without permission. Deputy Aderhold was given the information. The vehicle was located and the complainant did not wish to pursue any charges.

November 3, 2009

Deputy Crockett was dispatched to put up cows that were out on Hwy 21 across from the Manheim store.

The Sheriff’s Office received a call from Rockdale Police Dept. regarding an assault that had just occurred on Hwy 79 in their city. A female was walking down the highway when the driver of an 18- wheeler stopped and assaulted her and then left the scene. Deputy Crockett and Trooper Manner searched Hwy 77 in case the driver turned on Hwy 77 and headed towards Giddings.

Deputy York and Deputy Crockett were dispatched to Sunvalley Mobile Home Park after a caller requested assistance with her juvenile daughter. The daughter was scheduled for an appointment at MHMR and was refusing to get into the car.

A caller reported that a female is leaving her small children unattended at Westwood Villa Apartments. Deputy Carvin is investigating the matter.

Deputy Robertson was dispatched to put up cows on FM 1624 approx 3 miles south of Lexington.

November 4, 2009

Chief Deputy Kothmann assisted B&M ambulance at a call in Dime Box. The caller advised that his sister got some medications from MHMR and after she took them that morning she went out of control.

A caller reported a disturbance at Westwood Villa apartments on Hwy 290 West. Two females were reportedly fighting. Deputy Carvin and Deputy Robertson were dispatched. The dispute was verbal only and the two parties settled the matter.

The Sheriff’s Office received a call regarding a disturbance at a residence on FM 180. Deputy Easley and Deputy Carvin were dispatched. One of the parties involved had left the residence. Investigation continues.

November 5, 2009

Deputy Aderhold responded to a residential fire alarm on FM 180. ADT reported that the fire alarm was activated on the keypad and they spoke to the owner of the residence who advised that there was a fire and she needed the fire department. The fire was put out.

While on routine patrol Deputy Aderhold located an abandoned vehicle on FM 696 West at CR 309. The owner of the vehicle was notified and they would be picking up the truck.

A motorist reported cows out on the roadway on CR 127 between FM 180 and CR 119. Deputy Crockett was dispatched.

Deputy Crockett was dispatched to a residence on CR 123 after the owner reported that his residence had been broken into. A report was made and investigation continues on this case.

Deputy Ray and Deputy Crockett were dispatched to a family disturbance on PR 1221. The caller reported that a male subject was beating up on three of his sisters. Subjects involved declined to file a report or charges.

A caller reported that there were approximately 6 vehicles blocking the road on CR 113. Deputy Robertson, Deputy Durrenberger and Deputy Carvin responded and located two of the vehicles. Two male subjects were getting ready to fight at the new park. Both parties were separated and left.

A resident on FM 1624 reported a suspicious vehicle parked next to her property and she could hear people talking. Deputy Easley, Deputy Durrenberger, Deputy Robertson and Deputy Aderhold located the jeep and advised that the driver hit a deer and his friend was trying to help him.

November 6, 2009

Deputy Ray was dispatched to CR 224 to check on an abandoned vehicle that was partially in the roadway. The vehicle was gone prior to his arrival.

A caller requested a civil standby at her ex-husband’s house while she gets her children. She advised that he has been threatening her. Deputy Easley assisted.

Deputy Carvin spoke to a complainant on CR 103. A report for theft was taken and investigation continues on this case.

A motorist reported a male and a little boy walking on Hwy 290 West. Deputy Aderhold was dispatched and located a broken down vehicle near CR 201 but was unable to locate anyone walking on the highway.

November 7, 2009

Deputy Easley and Deputy Carvin were dispatched to a domestic disturbance on CR 233. The caller advised that her husband was out of control. Before reaching the scene the deputies came across an accident which happened to be the subject from the assault call.

A caller reported that a vehicle ran off the road and into some trees. Deputy Aderhold was dispatched along with Trooper Manner. No injuries were reported.

A motorist reported several cows out on CR 322 approx 1 mile off FM 1624. Deputy Lapham was dispatched and removed the cows from the road.

Deputy Ray put up a horse and a donkey that were walking down the middle of CR 105 near CR 200.

A complainant came into the Sheriff’s Office and met with Deputy Lapham regarding a stolen cell phone. A report was made.

Deputy York spoke to a complainant who had some concerns regarding child custody. Subject was given information regarding her options.

Constable Dussetschleger reported that he came across a one vehicle accident on CR 322 and no one was around. Deputy York and Deputy Ray arrived on scene and advised that there was not any property damage nor were there any injuries.

A juvenile female called her father and told him that she was with her mother and everyone in the house was drunk and fighting and she was scared. Deputy Easley went to the residence and reported that everything was okay. All parties that were intoxicated and fighting had already left prior to his arrival.

November 8, 2009

Deputy Lapham and Deputy Ray were dispatched to check welfare on a female that did not show up for work at 5: 00 a.m. The subject that called advised this was not normal behavior for her. Deputies checked on CR 132 but determined that the address was in Burleson County. Information was passed on to Caldwell.

A caller requested a deputy meet her at her residence on CR 430. Her door was open and she was not sure if someone had gone inside. Deputy Lapham met with her and a report was taken. Investigation continues on this case.

Deputy Ray was dispatched to Hwy 77 South just south of the water tower to check on two R.V.’s that were broken down and were partially in the roadway.

A motorist reported a one vehicle accident on Hwy 21 near Sugar Hill Ranch. Chief Deputy Kothmann was first on the scene and advised that there were no injuries or property damage.

Deputy Easley and Deputy Aderhold assisted Trooper Early at the scene of a rollover accident on Hwy 21 East.
